Foundry Technician

VMAC is looking for an experienced Foundry Technician with a background in molding, to prepare molds, melt and pour aluminum, break down molds and heat treat castings.

This position is a key role within VMAC's Foundry team dedicated to expanding our presence in the industrial equipment market.

This position offers valuable hands-on experience and the opportunity to contribute within a dynamic team environment. We're expanding our in-house aluminum sand casting foundry, and we need two talented individuals to join the VMAC family.

Responsibilities and Duties:

As a Foundry Technician reporting to the Foundry Supervisor, you'll be at the heart of our production process.

Here's what you'll be doing:

Prepare molds, melt and pour aluminum, break down molds, heat treat castings, and other exciting duties.
Collaborate with the design, production, supply chain and quality teams to produce highquality, low volume castings and moldings efficiently.
Understand safety protocols and ensure all work is completed with safety at the forefront.
Participate in the development and implementation of companywide department initiatives to achieve strategic goals and objectives of the company.
Engage in companywide continuous improvement ideas.
