The Opportunity

We are looking for a very well organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team. If you have sound judgment, great time management skills mixed with the ability to work as part of a team, we want to hear from you

Responsibilities:

Schedule and manage all manufacturing work orders through the ERP system
Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to facilitate ontime materials to the production line as and when required, avoiding disruption to production
Understand and manage risks to minimize impact on production schedule
Take follow up actions in relation to material shortages that affect production
Support inventory checks to validate inventory accuracy
Collaborate with operations managers to gain alignment on schedules and avoid any delays in production
Work closely with Labour Planning Analyst to identify and resolve any potential labour shortfalls/downtime
Schedule and conduct meetings weekly with various Operations Managers to discuss schedules, identify and resolve any issues, previous week schedule attainment, and areas for improvement
Assess capacity requirements against planning assumptions
Resolve problems quickly in order of priority
Create regular statistical reports and analysis and update others in the organization
Other duties as assigned

Experience- Strong computer skills- Scheduling experience in a manufacturing environment is an asset- Strong communication and organizational skills are a must- ERP and supply chain planning systems experience is an asset- Detail oriented with the ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment- Understanding of how manufacturing plants operate Strong ability to multitask, work under pressure and meet timelines
