Are you known as an expert specializes in Microsoft SQL database infrastructure? Do you have in-depth knowledge of cloud database environments?

If so, we need you


As a Senior Advisor, Database Infrastructure Administration, you will be responsible for the transformation and overall smooth operation of the Bank's database environments.

You'll oversee the development of database infrastructure in line with the target, while ensuring it is secure, efficient, stable and available at all times.


  • Your role:
  • Script and automate the vast majority of daytoday activities in order to speed up delivery of services and projects, as well as incident resolution
  • Set up, configure, administer and update databases
  • Participate in the transformation of database infrastructure
  • Implement changes when necessary
  • Resolve issues and find permanent solutions
  • Collaborate in the various stages of projects
  • Provide support for environments on a rotating basis, along with other team members
  • Ensure that information in the CMDB is kept up to date

Competencies required:

  • Mastery of MSSQL database infrastructure, tuning, patching/upgrade, audit, TDE, SSL, backup/restore & Always On
  • Very good knowledge of AWS and Azure cloud database environments
  • Knowledge of PostgreSQL and MongoDB database environments, an asset
  • Knowledge of automation tools (Ansible, Terraform, Git, Jenkins, Bitbucket, PowerShell, Bash, etc.), an asset
  • Knowledge of Atlassian suite (Jira, Confluence & Bitbucket), an asset
  • Functional experience of Unix/Linux and Windows operating systems
  • Ability to grasp new concepts quickly and learn independently
  • Bilingualism (English and French) required, as you will frequently serve clients who speak a language other than French
  • Threeyear professional college diploma or academic equivalent in a related field and 7 years of relevant experience or bachelor's degree and 5 years of relevant experience
