Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Pastry Cook to join our team in creating delicious pastries and desserts for our customers.
Duties:
- Prepare and bake a variety of pastries, cakes, and desserts following recipes
- Decorate pastries using icing, glazes, and toppings
- Ensure all pastries are presented attractively and according to quality standards
- Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen workspace
- Collaborate with the culinary team to develop new pastry items
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Pastry Cook or relevant role in a restaurant or bakery setting
- Knowledge of food handling, food safety standards, and proper food preparation techniques
- Strong attention to detail and creativity in pastry decoration
- Excellent customer service skills when interacting with clients or customers
- Ability to work efficiently in a fastpaced kitchen environment
- Experience with packaging pastries for display or takeaway
- Formal culinary education or certification is a plus

$15.00-$17.00 per hour
