Machine Operator - Mat Making

North West Rubber has been in business for 50+ years. A recycling industry leader in manufacturing industrial rubber mats. Our facility started in British Colombia and now expands internationally including facilities in Ontario Canada, Houston Texas, China and Pakistan. This is steady work, as our facility runs 24/7 and continues to grow year after year.

We are looking to add an individual to our manufacturing team in Brantford, in our mat making department running our automated mat making machines.

Shift: 12 hours continental - Rotating Days & Nights 7am-7pm/7pm-7am

Wage:
$23.36/hour

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

Unloading and loading finished product
Meet high demand production targets
Follow all health and safety guidelines and protocols
Accurately and legibly fill out production paperwork and downtime tracking
Report damaged or malfunctioning equipment to supervisors and or maintenance staff immediately
Identify Quality concerns quickly and effectively
Maintain high standards of organization and cleanliness
Preform other workrelated duties as assigned

Requirements:

Ability to work in a fastpaced environment and problem solve
A Team Player who constructively contributes to a positive environment
Good understanding of pneumatics and hydraulics
Good technical skills; Understanding of VFDS & Servos. How they communicate and measure distance & speed
Good mechanical skills for small repairs
Uphold absenteeism rate below 3.5%
Previous machine operating & forklift experience is required
