- Creating Individual Vocational Rehabilitation Plans in collaboration with case managers, physicians, physical therapists, and psychologists.
- Facilitating sessions with family members/caregivers, employers and volunteer supervisors to better understand and support clients' employment goals.
- Consulting with employers and other stakeholders to facilitate access to employment.
- Collecting labor market information.
- Locating resources such as computer software, mobility aids, or community support.
- Identifying vocational training opportunities.
- Monitoring, documenting, and reporting progress using our database, as well as changing rehabilitation plans accordingly.
- Keeping informed of advancements in vocational rehabilitation therapy. *Qualifications
- Related Degree OR postsecondary diploma in rehabilitation, social work, applied counselling, career development, disability management or other related education and experience
- Mental Health training and experience
- Motivational Interviewing experience or training would be an asset
- Training / experience in Case Management
- RVP, RRP and CVRP / CCVE credentials or willingness to work towards
- NOC and Career Handbook knowledge would be an asset
- Knowledge and training in Positive Psychology would be an asset *Skills
- Comfortable navigating difficult conversations with compassion
- Knowledge of mental health and return to work
- Strong documentation and report writing
- Interpersonal and customer service skills
- PHIA and FIPPA knowledge
- Able to work in the "grey zone"
- Objectivity, professionalism and optimism
- Persuasive communication
- Working within provided time constraints, and budget plans
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Solution focused
- Computer / technology skills proficiency with Microsoft Word, Outlook, and ability to learn databases
- Ability to work independently and on a team
- Personal vehicle, class 5 driver's license, ability to drive to surrounding communities rurally across Manitoba

Flexibility to work a hybrid schedule (part time in office, part time from home) would be required.
