The Role:
The Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) is an integral member of the STARS business units that they support and a trusted advisor to leaders.
What you'll be doing:
- Providing quality support to leaders regarding all aspects of human resources management including compensation, benefits, performance management, workforce planning and HR policies and procedures
- Partnering with hiring leaders through the recruitment and onboarding process for new team members
- Providing coaching to leaders in their client group on critical employee relations issues
- Rolling out new or revised HR programs and initiatives to their client groups
- Leading and/or participating on project teams
- Providing advice and support to team members on HR matters
- Proactively sharing insights about the mood of the organization and potential issues percolating
- Interpreting HR policies and procedures within scope of authority
- Conducting investigations of workplace policy violations
- Seeking ways to proactively improve processes and outcomes
- Travelling to other bases as appropriate
- Engaging as a trusted advisor and partner to other HR team members
- Other duties as required
Who we're looking for:
- 7+ Years in increasing seniority of HR roles, including significant experience as a HR Generalist
- Post-Secondary diploma or degree an asset
- CHRP an asset

- You are proactive and solutions oriented, have flexibility can adapt easily to changing business priorities, you build solid relationships at all levels in the organization and demonstrate a working knowledge of critical HR functions including; workforce management, L&D, compensation, employment law
- You promptly respond to leader or employee questions or concerns, demonstrate accountability for actions and work well as a team member
