Department Overview
The Analytics and Information Management team supports the entire Canadian Auto Finance organization with reporting, data consulting, strategy and ad-hoc analyses from product development, sales and loan acquisition to operations and servicing customers.

About this Role
Reporting to the Senior Manager, Analytics & Information Management - the Business Insights Specialist role includes providing support maintaining CRM, analytics discovery, and business insights, developing dashboard to a wide range of audience at all levels, including senior executives, of all functions within TDAF.
- Work with business partners on initiatives and projects. Provide consultation and recommendations by highlighting impacts from a quantitative point of view.
- Proactively identify opportunities for the business to maximize shareholder value through provisioning of analytics discovery and business insights.
- Manage, update, and maintain pricing model and profitability reports for consumption of product partners. Liaison with a variety of teams (TBSM, Capital, Risk, Finance) to understand changes to financial variables and its impact to the models output.
- Prepare Management summaries highlighting the outcome of the dealer segmentation refresh and ensuring the appropriate validations are performed, coordinating with dealer ops team on the changes.
- Proactively identify opportunities for the business to maximize shareholder value through provisioning of analytics discovery and business insights.
- Act as a SME providing consultation and recommendations on how the team can provide strategic business value to teams across TDAF.
- Accountable for all daytoday CRM Maintenance and upgrades.
- Provide ad hoc support to Senior Manager in strategic and tactical initiatives as required.
- Monitor and ensure the appropriate policies procedures and accountabilities are documented and followed for internal and external audit purposes.
- Establish and maintain productive working relations with all stakeholders.
- Provide leadership, coaching, and mentorship for all employees on the team
Job Requirements
What can you bring to TD?
Share your most relevant experience, credentials and knowledge for this role, as well as these essential requirements and attributes:
- Requires minimum 5 to 8 years in an analytical or consulting role.
- Strong experience working with relational databases. Querying and combining various data sources with SQL.
- Banking, Pricing or Automotive Industry experience is strongly recommended.
- Experience building presentations and presenting the findings to upper management using Tableau and PowerPoint.
- Demonstrated experience in delivering high quality, high impact analytical solutions to business problems.
- Strong organizational skills, with the ability to work in a fastpaced environment and manage multiple deadlines and priorities.
- Strong relationship building skills, ability to collaborate effectively with teams across TDAF and the Bank.
- Experience with Power BI and Microsoft Dynamics 365 is an asset.
