As part of the ONxpress consortium, Alstom is proudly working to transform the collective mobility of the Greater Toronto and Hamilton areas (GTHA) through the On-Corridor Works project, and we are hiring for hundreds of roles.


The GO Expansion scope :

new electric locomotives, fleet upgrades, train control systems, network electrification, signalling, telecommunications and digital systems, maintenance, and much more.

Objective

Follow company Supply Chain processes, controls, and policies.

In charge of coordinating Supply Chain activities for your project(s), from Tender to project end, and representing the Supply Chain function within the Project Core Team.

Responsibilities and Accountabilities

  • Adapt and Deploy Supply Chain strategy & footprint vs Regional Supply Chain & Local strategy
  • Set up & Synchronize Supply Chain processes vs Industrial requirements
  • Manage deployment roadmap through the projects on the site
  • Identify site needs & define local requirements for Transversal Processes & Tools, contribute to Transversal Process /Tool Definition, improvement & validation
  • Deploy targeted organization
  • Deploy people development roadmap including skills levels, training & qualification path
  • Deploy robust supply chain culture at all levels
  • Prepare & follow budget for his perimeter including function cost
  • Define & deploy opportunities leveraging synergies & improvement initiatives
  • Reach & Animate performance KPIs, KPIs targets
  • Ensure compliant on process review, audits
  • Provide support to Site on supply chain stabilization or mobilization of emerging sites, new businesses
  • Manage the S&OP and MPS (Manufacturing sites)
  • Support the Projects to achieve QCD commitments and represent the supply chain in Site Management / project committee.
  • Manage process and activities related to Project Supply Chain, Material Planning, Production Controlling and Logistics in coordination with the related departments.
  • Contribute to P&FM and MPS meeting preparation
  • Coordinate Supply Chain activities related to planning changes or technical modifications with significant impact on supplier's capacity or logistics flows.
  • Provide the date of modifications applicability (rank) to avoid excess inventory
  • Manage Material Availability (missing parts), Anticipate material shortage
  • Coordinate all Supply Chain activities to secure the end of production (Missing Parts) while minimizing costs and obsolete inventories
  • Ensure operations are executed in an environment that complies with Alstom Health, Safety and Environmental policies
Educational Requirements

  • University Degree in Supply Chain Management
  • Master's in Supply Chain Management (desirable)
Experience

  • Experience of 10 to 15 years in industrial environment
  • Experience of 10 years in Supply Chain
  • ERP Management experience ((master data, purchase orders management ) or ERP architecture understanding (BOM, NCR ) or ability to use ERP)
  • Experience with supervising and managing staff
  • Process Mapping
Working Conditions (Industrial/Environmental)

Travel:
Able to travel to visit suppliers and other Alstom's sites as needed.
