Under the general direction of the Talent Management Lead, the Talent Management Specialist is responsible for supporting the
design, development and maintenance of talent management programming such as performance development, succession
planning, competencies, strategic workforce planning and career path development. The TM Specialist will assist with the design
and facilitation of in-person or virtual presentations and/or training and will develop tools and resources to support the successful

  • With the Senior Talent Management Specialist, evaluate talent management strategy, frameworks and programs to support
the achievement of business objectives.

  • Partner with other Subject Matter Experts to ensure that talent management programs feed into and align with other relevant
HR programs.

  • Participate in the evaluation and development of talent management solutions / systems / processes to achieve business
objectives.

  • Design and facilitate inperson or virtual talent management program sessions and presentations.
  • Review and update talent management programs based on new business needs, processes, or procedures.
  • Analyze issues and results of existing talent management programs and initiate improvement strategies.
  • Support the team with research of talent management trends and best practices and identify opportunities to incorporate into

- existing programs.
  • Assist in the design, development and maintenance of talent management strategies and tools including Performance
  • Development, Strategic Workforce Planning, Succession Planning, Career Pathing and the Competency Model.
  • Ensure the proper execution of talent management programming by supporting the Talent Management Senior in the
evaluation, creation and revision of tools, templates, processes and communications of each of the talent management
portfolios.

  • Support talent strategies by analyzing talent and succession data and preparing related materials.
  • Develop relevant tools and guidance for the enterprise on the talent management and internal mobility strategy.

_ Qualifications:
_


  • Bachelor's degree in Business/Public Administration (Human Resources), Commerce (Human Resources), Education or
Psychology with a minimum of one year of related experience.
OR

  • An equivalent combination of education and four years of directly related experience.

  • Certification or courses in a relevant discipline such as Adult Education or professional designation such as Chartered
  • Professional in Human Resources (CPHR) would be considered an asset.
  • Occasional travel to locations outside of Winnipeg may be required.

_ Salary Range_
Starting salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. The range for the classification is $36.74-$50
