    Application Support Specialist | Newmarket

    About the role:

    Metlifecare is on a journey to become a truly data-driven organisation, and we're looking for an Application Support Specialist to help us continue the journey. In this exciting role, you'll work alongside our Application Solutions Specialist and focus on day-to-day system support, user administration, and assistance with system enhancements while ensuring high service quality and user satisfaction.

    Key Responsibilities will include:

    • System Support: Provide Level 2 support, manage user access, monitor performance, maintain documentation, and assist with testing and on-call duties.
    • Operational Support: Handle daily support (~70%), manage tickets, liaise with vendors, maintain knowledge base, and perform health checks.
    • Enhancements & Projects: Support projects (~30%), participate in agile activities, test new features, maintain configurations, and drive continuous improvement.
    • User Support & Training: Deliver first-level support, create user guides, assist with training and communications, and promote best practices.
    • Quality & Improvement: Follow processes, maintain accurate documentation, share knowledge, identify improvements, and report metrics.

    About you:

    With a relevant IT qualification or equivalent experience; certifications (e.g., Microsoft Technology Associate), you will bring the follow skill set to the table.

    • 3+ years in application support with enterprise systems (e.g., Microsoft Dynamics 365, HR, clinical systems).
    • Background in technical support or service desk; aged care/retirement sector experience is a plus.
    • Strong understanding of ITIL processes, enterprise applications, and business workflows.
    • Excellent problem-solving, analytical ability, and customer service orientation.
