Business Development Representative, Microsoft Cloud

  • Responsible for driving and increasing overall Microsoft Cloud revenue, market share, and reseller breadth.
  • Represent Microsoft Cloud product categories at TD SYNNEX and TD SYNNEX reseller events, training, functions, etc.
  • Help to initiate reseller partnership efforts with Microsoft as well as TD SYNNEX sales segments.
  • Work with marketing and program management team to develop programs for demand creation and sales development
  • Upselling and Crossselling market complementary solutions into appropriate vertical segments
  • Know Microsoft Cloud products & TD SYNNEX Company vision & mission; strive to exceed expectations with every partner, every day and to maximize shareowner value
  • Weekly sync with the Microsoft Cloud and VL team to provide ideas, feedback, and insights into the market
  • Quarterly review with manager and Microsoft team to ensure goals are being completed & next quarter's goals are assigned.
  • Constant visiting our partners to better understand their business and to maintain their relationship with TD SYNNEX.
  • Achieve Microsoft Cloud goals
  • Get the most recent Microsoft Cloud certifications to meet Microsoft partnership requirements
  • Have knowledge of market trends for Microsoft Cloud product categories, demonstrate competence on Microsoft Cloud products, reviews trade publications and industry news
  • Support the sales department and resellers regarding Microsoft Cloud questions.
  • Research potential resellers for new resale opportunities
  • Assist the sales team with information connecting assigned products with other offerings
  • Position TD SYNNEX as the premier partner for both the vendor and resellers
  • Assist in coordinating and participating in TD SYNNEX's Sales & Reseller training and activities
  • Attend TD SYNNEX and Microsoft events/conferences as appropriate
  • Work with Resellers and TD SYNNEX's Sales to create awareness, drive solution sales and addon sales & communicate with prospective Resellers the value the TD SYNNEX provides
  • Create and close business and work with Microsoft Cloud reps & TD SYNNEX's sales reps daily by managing incoming calls from Resellers and TD SYNNEX Sales and holding a weekly team meeting to discuss issues, new products/programs, opportunities, updates
  • Initiate partnership (engagement) efforts between Microsoft Cloud Sales and TD SYNNEX's Sales (field & inside sales)
  • Work with TD SYNNEX management and Microsoft Cloud team (Marketing, Technical & Purchasing) on sales plans, goals, and initiatives
  • Implement and manage all Microsoft Cloud programs, including building Reseller relationships and participating in targeted outbound calls daily; weekly reporting to MS team
  • Call on Microsoft Cloud Field and Inside Sales Reps to form a relationship
  • Provide notification to TD SYNNEX Sales and Resellers on new Microsoft Cloud products and/or changes (create documents and follow up calls)
