Located in Nisku, Alberta, OPENLANE / ADESA Edmonton is one of ADESA Canada's 14 wholesale vehicle auctions that are located across Canada, and the employer of choice in the Canadian automotive remarketing industry.
Responsibilities:
- Aids in the growth and support of current customer base and acts as a liaison for public/local fleet consignment and auction personnel.
- Understands automobiles by studying characteristics, capabilities, and features; comparing competitive models; inspecting automobiles.
- Develops buyers by maintaining rapport with customers; meeting prospects at community activities; greeting dropins; responding to inquiries; recommending sales campaigns and promotions.
- Qualifies buyers by understanding buyer's requirements and interests; matching requirements and interests to various models; building rapport.
- Closes sales by overcoming objections; asking for sales; negotiating price; completing sales; explaining provisions; explaining and offering value added services; collects payment.
- Provides sales management information by completing reports.
- Enhances Auction reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
- Securing sales and qualifying buyers for purchase
- Establishing and maintaining a followup system with customers to encourage increased business referrals.
- Carefully reviewing sales data and statistics to plan more effectively for the future with the aim of boosting sales and enhancing brand image.
Experience Requirements- A current and valid driver's license- A minimum of one-year experience in a sales environment.- Possessing basic knowledge and understanding of car depreciation, governing the automobile guide, equity and values.- Exceptional interpersonal skills.
A positive attitude towards customers.- Achieving the minimum set quotas as per the Auction standards.- Exceptional telephone, communication and listening skills.
Must possess qualities, such as excellent negotiation and persuasive skills- Must be confident, and polite- Strong customer focus.
