We have been dedicated to delivering cutting-edge consulting services and recruiting all levels of IT positions for our clients.Deliverable: 31 Website development/ maintenance
- Assist in the Development and implementation of effective and sustainable advanced web content management systems and methodologies in a complex environment. Identifying opportunities to leverage current tools including Sharepoint, PowerApps design,.Net development and HTML.
- Development of documentation and communications. Leverage Content Management systems aligned to government and team based practices, with the ability to enhance the customer experience, finding efficiencies in process and collaborative activities.
Responsibilities:
- Develops, updates, analyzes and edits content and functionality for websites;
- Review and ensure websites are standards compliant for the Government of Ontario.
- Review and advise on current effectiveness of websites (e.g. metrics and SEO) and provide recommendations.
- Document best practices for ongoing maintenance of the Government of Ontario web presence.
- Analysis of the current situation, able to develop new workflows and identify appropriate roles & responsibilities within Content Management system.
- Technical writing & communications tailored to varying purposes and audiences.
- Support current FTE developers in ongoing tasks.
Experience and Skill Set Requirements
1. Experience working with Content Management systems - 15%
Parameters:
- Knowledge of CMS, ability to document and impart knowledge of any deliverables.
- Experience in being provided widgets or components to develop and design based on guidance offered by Technical Lead in this initiative.
- Experience with Umbraco or.
2. Experience doing business analysis of complex business workflows and processes - 15%
Parameters:
- Knowledge and experience in designing workflows, process maps, procedures and process collaterals, in products such as Visio, PowerPoint or Excel, etc.
- Understanding of complex business flows aligning to a Service Management set of methodologies for example ITIL v3 or v4.
3. Proven English-writing experience in business documentation and customer facing writing for the web - 25%
Parameters:
- Ability to provide examples showing proficiency in English for both internal and external consumption.
- Ability to document effectively, and transpose into collaterals in an efficient manner.
- Ability to explain web content in simple business terms for appropriate audiences.
- Over 5 years proven English writing experience spanning both technical and business content.
4. Solid communication and collaboration skills working with a broad set of stakeholders - 15%
Parameters:
- Experience working with diverse groups in a complex collaboration environment.
- Demonstrating the ability to influence and bring other groups along.
- Being able to engage and work with other Service Management practice areas.
