Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate multiple CNC machines to perform precision machining operations
• Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and specifications to determine machining operations
• Use hand tools and measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and depth gauges to inspect machined parts for conformance to specifications
• Make adjustments to machine settings to ensure proper dimensions and finishes of machined parts
• Quality conscious at all times
• Monitor machine operations and make necessary adjustments to maintain quality and productivity

Skills:

• Proficiency in operating CNC machines (Haas and Flex) and understanding of CNC programming
• Strong knowledge of machining techniques
• Familiarity with Mastercam and ability to advance learning
• Ability to use hand tools and measuring instruments accurately
• Can lift up to 50 pounds and stand for the duration of the shift
• Enjoys working in a fastpaced environment and can work without supervision
• Has completed high school and can write and communicate effectively in English
• Forklift experience an asset

Hours of work per Averaging Agreement totaling 40 hrs/week. No weekends or statutory holidays.


Salary:
$24.00-$30.00 per hour
