Specific Duties and Responsibilities:


  • Working independently, manages all aspects of a complex program offering through final delivery of product.
  • Works closely with Sales and with customer with a goal of customer satisfaction and future business opportunities.
  • Ensures that customer expectations are met according to contractual agreements.
  • Quickly resolves escalated problems, and makes impactful decisions regarding pricing, schedules, commit dates, etc.
  • Ensuring that performance on key metrics meets or exceeds requirements, inclusive of inventory turns, Excess and Obsolete recovery, profit margins, revenue stability and growth, management of customer against contractual terms, on time delivery, quality performance, and accounts receivable collection.
  • Ensuring that all information necessary to the customer is provided in a timely manner.
  • Leads budget analysis, labour planning and coordination of activities between client and company personnel.
  • Managing supply/demand plans to ensure all deliverables are coordinated to support on time delivery against Sanmina commitments.
  • Coordinating and delivering quotations to sales organization and/or customers.
  • Ensuring execution against contractual requirements.
  • Monitoring programs from initiation through delivery to meet revenue and cost projections.

_Knowledge and Skills_:

Completion of a post-secondary degree in engineering, business administration, or a related discipline. Typically requires a minimum of 8 years' related experience.

Having wide-ranging educational knowledge or equivalent experience, uses professional concepts and company objectives to resolve complex issues in creative and effective ways.


Communication

  • Manages the client relationship and expectations to ensure customer satisfaction related to ongoing delivery of products and services.

Customer Focus

  • Following up with customers to ensure their requests have been addressed.
  • Working closely with customers on sensitive issues to rectify problems and improve level of customer satisfaction.

Problem Solving

  • Investigating, identifying and escalating opportunities to improve the customer experience and revenue generation through quality, engineering and/or cost enhancements.
  • Works on complex issues where analysis of situations or data requires an indepth evaluation of various factors.

Job specific skills

  • Strong working knowledge of complex manufacturing systems, assembly and test processes, schedules and scheduling requirements, and program management techniques and tools.
  • Excellent customer contract, negotiation and problem resolution skills.
  • Experience with critical path and dependency charts and flow charting.
  • Strong knowledge of product pricing, quoting, contracts and contract negotiation.
  • Excellent database management, computer and presentation skills.
  • Proven ability to provide leadership and guidance to others.
  • Proven successful track record in the following areas
- _Business Acumen - _the ability to understand and analyze business issues and trends associated with manufacturing electronic and PCB assemblies, along with their industry and customer implications.
- _Strategic vision _- the ability to understand and develop a strategic plan with an understanding of financial and people resources required, and to define contingencies to align with Sanmina strategic plans.

Leadership

  • Managing overall customer support for assigned accounts by leading crossfunctional teams comprised of Buyers, Material Planners, Test, Manufacturing and Quality Engineers.
  • Determines methods and procedures on new programs and may coordinate activities of other internal and external resources. Has the authority to make responsible decisions comparable to scope of position.

Innovation

  • Recommending and driving programs for quality improvement, productivity, and cost reduction to maximize competitive economics for both SANM and customers.

Organization/Project Management

  • Working directly with strategic customers, plant management and internal customerfocused teams to develop and implement account strategies.
