Description
Cart and spread topsoil and other materials.- Lay sod or seed.
- Plant shrubs and trees.
- Clean and prepare construction sites to eliminate possible hazards.
- Utilize concrete to form foundations/pads/walls. Build and position forms for pouring concrete, and dismantle forms after use.
- Build retaining walls, paving stone installation, concrete forming, underground utility installation and other types of civil work.
- Operation of small packers, shoveling, heaving lifting, etc.
- Dig ditches or trenches, backfill excavations, compact and level earth to grade specifications, using appropriate tools.
- Perform other duties to assist with the construction of a landscape and related structures.

- river valley
- urban landscapes
Requirements:
- Previous construction experience is considered an asset, but is not necessary.
- Handeye coordination, manual dexterity, attention to detail.
- Various locations outdoors.
- Equipment and machinery experience an asset.
- CSTS 2020 is an employment requirement (May be provided)
