Position Overview

Duties & Responsibilities:


  • Provide school/program information to walkin students/guests
  • Maintain inventory of textbooks
  • Prepare new student documentation and arrange their textbooks and course schedules
  • Assist management with correspondence, announcements, and general campus maintenance
  • Liaise with building management and maintenance teams on operational problems and issues
  • Maintain student files and database in accordance with management, and archive student files
  • Conduct student surveys, create and send survey results to instructors
  • To assist with the ordering of stationery, materials and resources and ensuring that stock levels are maintained
  • Update social media with school information and activities
  • Receive, sort and distribute all packages, deliveries and mail
  • Treat students, often with language barriers, with kindness and patience
  • Provide general support to Directors, Managers and other Administrative staff

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:


  • Highly efficient multitasker who can juggle multiple priorities with the ability to work effectively under pressure in a fastpaced, growing environment
  • Display excellent interpersonal skills . Must possess tact and diplomacy with ability to deescalate conflict, manage difficult or emotional situations with a positive solution focus, listen to others without interrupting; keep emotions under control; remain open to ideas and trying new things
  • Must have strong written communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail; ability to develop routine reports and correspondence and support all departments with general administrative tasks
  • Demonstrate excellent computer proficiency in Microsoft Office Products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
  • Working knowledge of office equipment (e.g., Printer, Copier and Scanner)

Contract length: 5 months


Salary:
$19.00-$21.00 per hour
