Description

Paradise Dock & Lift is seeking an experienced Production Supervisor to join our team.

In this role, you will directly supervise and coordinate all production activities and employees within their respective departments to ensure the correct parts are being built for orders going out.

Additionally, you will collaborate with our sales team to coordinate service and installations with customers.

Key Responsibilities:

Teamwork and Cooperation: Engage with employees and departmental teams to ensure a collaborative working environment and successful operations.

Daily Coordination: Lead a diverse team, coordinating daily workloads to ensure safe, efficient, and consistent production that meets customer delivery and quality expectations.

Policy Administration: Administer company policies and procedures, provide training, manage performance, and resolve obstacles in coordination with the Operations Manager.

Strategic Planning: Review production demands and schedules daily to understand open order status, capacity requirements, and advocate for staffing, process, or equipment changes as needed.

Installation and Servicing: Manage and oversee the servicing and repair of local in-field lifts and docks.

Job Duties:

Foster a safe work environment.
Coordinate operations and activities with other departments.
Effectively manage production schedules.
Assign daily workload to team members.
Organize and support employees in their daytoday activities.
Demonstrate commitment to quality and safety standards.
Provide ongoing technical direction, coaching, and development of employees.
Participate in production and process improvement reviews.
Monitor and assess employee performance and skills.
Engage with staff in performance management in collaboration with the Operations Manager.
Increase work efficiency and production rates, suggesting process improvements.
Relay production updates from the shop floor to the Operations Manager.

Qualifications:

Proven experience as a Production Supervisor or similar role in manufacturing or production environments.
Strong leadership and communication skills.
Knowledge of production processes and quality standards.
Ability to work effectively in a fastpaced, deadlinedriven environment.
Excellent problemsolving and decisionmaking abilities.
Familiarity with safety and health regulations.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software.
