    GAT is seeking a dynamic, dependable, and capable individual to join its team of aviation professionals.

    Job Summary:
    Report directly to the General Manager.

    The primary day to day purpose and focus of this position is largely dictated on the immediate needs of the company.

    Overview

    We are looking for a strong detailed oriented candidate to own the administrative responsibilities within our business.

    The Administrative Assistant role will have the responsibility of organizing our key frontline office responsibilities including scheduling, payroll and supporting onboarding employees.


    Areas of responsibility:

    • Responsible for inputting monthly employee schedules in to DayForce Ceridian in conjunction with the General Manager
    • Actively review and fill daily shifts, in conjunction with Supervisor group, to attain optimal operational coverage
    • Complete daily payroll and hours reconciliation including processing shift trading, shift swaps, exceptions log entries, overtime inputs and qualifying shift pay for General Manager review and signoff
    • Coordinate the PO entry process in support of the Operations Manager
    • Daily update of the Attendance tracking spreadsheet
    • Coordinate with YYC AVOP office and internal employees on scheduling AVOP training
    • Support New Hire onboarding requirements including timely and accurate completion of RAIC documentation, and initial training scheduling Qualifications The successful candidate will have
    • Previous experience in workforce planning and payroll reconciliation
    • A strong working knowledge of the Google suite of programs or equivalent PC office programs
    • Excellent organizational skills and detailed oriented
    • Able to manage competing priorities and accommodate ongoing change
    • Approachable and able to communicate with different workgroups
    Qualifications


    • High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred
    • Proven admin or assistant experience
    • Knowledge of office management systems and procedures
    • Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work
    • Attention to detail and problem solving skills
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • Strong computer skills, Word, Excel, Gmail, GSuite applications
