Overview:

Parma Security Services is currently looking for licensed, qualified Security Guards for our retail client sites.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

Be visible to Customers as they enter the Retail premises.
Acknowledge customers as they enter and exit the store.
React to Public or Employee safety issues by informing management of incidents.
In partnership with the retail store staff, identify possible shrinkage concern.
Follow post orders for each location.

Employment Requirements:

Valid Provincial Security Guard Licence.
Minimum high school education/equivalence.
Relevant security experience or College Diploma in Law & Security, Police Foundations or is an asset.
Strong multitasking skills.
Strong interpersonal communication; good command of English language.
Friendly personality.
Good physical wellbeing; will be expected to stand/walk for long periods at a time.
Demonstrate tact, discretion & professionalism at all times.
Exceptional judgment, common sense and decisionmaking ability.
2+ years Security Guard Experience
1+years Loss Prevention Experience
Maintained Valid Provincial Security Guard License
Maintained First Aid & CPR Certification
Protection, Security and Investigation/Police Foundations and/or equivalent college/university education related to the security industry
Reliable transportation
Ability to work all shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays
