Job Overview

• Prepare all types of electrical/mechanical drawings and sketches for equipment and systems in a Thermal generating station for work protection drawings (WPC) utilizing AutoCAD technology.
• Participate in walk-downs of the plant to ensure configuration management is supported.
• Vectorize existing hand-drawn (raster) WPC drawings to new ESM3R Standard
• Update existing drawings (vector) to new standard which involves updating of the symbology and adding attributes.

Qualifications

• Mechanical Or Electrical Technician/Technologist
• Min 2 years (4, hours) drafting experience required; 5-8 years within Power Generation/industrial setting, preferred.
• Proficient with AutoCAD and Raster Design
• Requires a general knowledge of the various functional relationships associated with a multi-discipline drawing office. However, a thorough understanding of the interface with mechanical design or electrical design is deemed necessary and a less thorough understanding of the interfaces with other common design disciplines.
• Comprehensive knowledge of the use of AutoCAD and Raster Design.
