You are someone in good health, allowing you to carry out your responsibilities efficiently, leading to a warm and secure environment for all visitors to Baptist Housing.

Must Haves

Completed Grade 1
A minimum of year of related experience or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience
An understanding of the healthcare environment is an asset

About the Role

The primary duty of the Visitation Screener is to warmly welcome and interact with individuals entering the facility, verifying the necessity of their visit and conveying visitor restrictions to enhance the safety of residents, families, and staff.

Models the organizational values
Demonstrates a consistent example of Servant Leadership by serving the needs of others
Fosters and maintains positive, collaborative relationships with Residents, Team Members, Families and Partners
Monitors access and egress at the front door
Temperature and screens and asks selfassessment questions to essential visitors, team members, contractors and public entering the building by following documentation provided
Schedules Resident Visitors following IHA protocols and procedures
Monitors Resident Visitor interaction to ensure safety protocols are followed
Provides directions to essential visitors, contractors and public regarding locations of various communities
Follows direction and criteria for providing PPE to visitors, contractors, team members and public
Sorts and files forms and documents as required
Cleans and sanitizes common areas
Performs other duties as assigned and as reflective of individual strengths

Your Work Location
You'll serve in one of our three communities, Smith Creek Village, Village at Mill Creek and Sun Pointe Village. These positions are casual.

What You Receive
A caring and supportive work environment with a compensation rate of $23.83/hr.
