Our Accident Benefits Claims department is rapidly expanding, and we're looking for an innovative individual who will lead the creation, implementation, and execution of a technical file review program as our
Lead Performance Analyst, Accident Benefits Claims.

Reporting into the Claims Performance Manager (CPM), you will be accountable for supporting the delivery of claims handling processes.

The qualitative and quantitative metrics that are obtained will be provided to the CPM to identify areas of improvement, innovation, and process accountability.


You will play an integral role in the learning and development program in the Accident Benefits claims function by providing insights and supporting training programs based on feedback from key stakeholders.

You will also assist in the management of vendor quality assurance on behalf of the Accident Benefits unit.


What You'll Do:


  • Lead Accident Benefits claims technical and vendor audits & analyses, conducting thorough audits of claims processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Analyze audit outcomes to identify improvement areas and collaborate with the CPM to implement audit recommendations and refine processes.
  • Assist in the evaluation of performance metrics of the Accident Benefits unit, identifying trends and discrepancies, and working with managers to develop and implement performance improvement strategies.
  • Analyze current internal employee claims training program and suggest/develop improvements in conjunction with the CPM.
  • Provide claims training to external vendor partners (i.e., Guidewire and Claimsbridge).
  • Develop and oversee a suite of performance metrics for Accident Benefits operations, using these metrics for forecasting trends & guiding strategic decisions.

What You'll Need:


  • 5+ years of Accident Benefits Claims line experience.
  • Undergraduate degree or equivalent is required.
  • CIP / FCIP / CRM Designation preferred.
  • Experience in audit, risk management, regulatory compliance, processes & controls.
  • Strong understanding of business operations and internal policies/procedures.
  • Experience as a claims leader is an asset.
  • Experience with stakeholder management is an asset.
