Key Responsibilities:


  • To provide the highest level of customer service to clients, vendors, and service providers
  • Identify training needs by evaluating Operations employees strengths and weaknesses
  • Develop and maintain inhouse training program for Operations employees in conjunction with the Quality Import Specialist and/or Operations Supervisor
  • Prepare teaching plans and material and update annually as required for inhouse training establishing Operational employees on related regulatory functions
  • Training new staff in conjunction with Supervisors and monitor employee errors
  • Ensure front desk receptionist accurately follows check in process
  • Conducting biweekly team meetings, monitor work volumes against team KPI's
  • Completing annual and semiannual employee performance reviews
***- Certified Customs Specialist (CCS) Designation (must maintain yearly status)
years experience in an Customs Broker operations department

  • Sound decision making and organizational skills
  • Ability to present complex information to a variety of audiences
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Self-Motivated with excellent problem solving skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office and inhouse software
