Aztek Solar is seeking an experienced person to take on the role of Lead Solar Installer. This is a full time, salary position, with room for growth and advancement.As part of the management team, it's important that you have a positive attitude, and contribute to the company culture.
-Employment Requirements_
- Minimum 12 years previous experience installing PV solar systems, both roof and ground mounts.
- Basic knowledge of residential electrical systems.
- Top notch customer service skills, including verbal and written communication.
- Possess a valid driver's license and maintain a clean driving record.
- Strong organizational skills to manage jobs and inventory.
- Experience in a leadership role, such as a foreman, supervisor, or team lead.
- Ability to work with a team, sharing knowledge, and encourage a positive work culture.
- Up to date training certificate for Fall Protection / Working at Heights.
Physical Requirements_
- Making multiple trips up & down a ladder.
- Ability to lift, squat, pull, and carry up to 50lbs.
- Ability to carry out repetitive tasks such as kneeling, bending, standing, climbing, lifting, and crouching.
- Working in various weather conditions.
- Comfortable in attics and crawlspaces.
Job Duties_
- Review job details to create an installation plan.
- Assist with ordering and tracking inventory for each job.
- Offer support, coaching, and training to coworkers.
- Install racking, inverters, and other PV solar components.
- Delegate various tasks and following up to make sure they are completed
Ie:
prepare, load, and organize installation vehicles.
- Troubleshoot, test, repair, and service technical equipment.
- Ensure each stage of the installation is completed in full to pass required inspections.
- Communicate with the office and other subcontractors.
- Maintain thorough documentation of installations including photographs, sticker maps, and other as required.
- Other duties may be assigned as you grow with the role.
Compensation_
- Salary position starting at $52,000 (based on experience)
