Description
Our Distribution Center, located in the Tilbury Business Park (Delta, BC), is currently seeking a full-time warehouse associate who can periodically assist with driving and deliveries.

- Assist in the loading and unloading of delivery trucks
- Pack and unpack goods for shipping and receiving
- Inspect all incoming shipments for condition and verify accuracy against purchase orders
- Distribute received shipments to respective departments within the warehouse
- Deliver orders to customers on assigned routes using Long & McQuade trucks (5ton, w/tailgate).
- Unload goods as per customer specifications
- Process outgoing shipments to suppliers and other Long & McQuade locations
- Work with standard shipping documents and online shipping systems
- Maintain shipping logs and properly file all paperwork
- Keep shipping/receiving area clean and organized and ensure compliance with health and safety standards
- Provide assistance to coworkers in stocking and restocking of merchandise
- Provide assistance to coworkers in general housekeeping maintenance
- Conduct inspections of the vehicle before departing to deliver goods
Job Requirements
- Valid Class 5 license with a clean driving record and at least 5 years of driving experience
- Comfortable driving large 5ton box trucks
- Must have strong attention to detail
- Enjoy working in a physically demanding and fastpaced environment
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to excel in a selfdirected work environment
- Ability to problem solve and troubleshoot
- Basic computer literacy and arithmetic skills
- Knowledge of musical equipment an asset.
Salary:
$19.00-$21.00 per hour
