Key Responsibilities:

Collaborates crossfunctionally and with senior leadership to define, build and drive strategic processes and portfolio analytics development
Provides recommendations on integrated portfolios that considers uncertainties and tradeoffs, aligns with strategic objectives, and supports business decisions that guides near

- and long-term planning

Provides competitive assessments from external benchmarks that helps contextualize and assess internal R&D projects and portfolio decisions. Provides insights to support business decisions and external communications
Collaborates with crossfunctional teams to identify, prioritize, and evaluate external assets and early R&D collaborations. Develops and articulates investment proposals to senior leadership

Education and Experience:

M.Sc. or Ph.

D. in biological sciences (Immunology, Biochemistry, Pharmacology, Structural Biology or similar) with a thorough understanding of cancer biology, immunology, and protein structure/function

3+ years biotech/pharmaceutical industry experience preferred.
Equivalent industry experience in Market Research with a BA (Business or Finance), or equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered

Skills and Abilities:

Thorough knowledge of drug development, and familiarity with regulatory affairs, commercialization, and pharmaceutical portfolio strategy development
Knowledge of the pharmaceutical/biotech landscape, R&D trends, decision analysis, business strategy and markets in major disease areas
Strong analytic skills and complex problemsolving ability
Strong organizational and communication skills with ability to confidently present findings to an executive audience
Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build and maintain positive work relationships to effectively interface at all levels across the organization
Ability to adapt to changes in the work environment. Manages competing demands and responds quickly to ad hoc requests. Changes approach or method to best fit the situation
Strong analytic skills and complex problemsolving ability

. Comfortable making probabilistic-based recommendations from imperfect data

Strong organizational and communication skills with the ability to confidently present findings to an executive audience
Experience using competitive intelligence databases e.g. Clarivate Analytics preferred
Ability to work independently and under mínimal supervision
Selfmotivated and energetic
Ability to travel up to 20% of time
