Grocery Store Manager**
Responsibilities:

  • Store Operations:
  • Oversee daytoday operations, ensuring smooth and efficient workflow.
  • Manage inventory levels, ordering stock, and maintaining optimal product assortment.
  • Monitor and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.

Customer Service:


  • Foster a customerfocused environment and ensure excellent customer service standards.
  • Address customer inquiries, concerns, and feedback promptly and professionally.

Team Management:


  • Recruit, train, and supervise store staff.
  • Provide leadership and motivation to create a positive and productive work environment.
  • Conduct performance evaluations and implement corrective actions as needed.

Merchandising and Product Placement:

  • Implement merchandising strategies to optimize sales and visual appeal.
  • Ensure proper product placement, pricing, and promotions.

Sales Growth and Financial Performance:

  • Set sales targets and develop strategies to achieve and exceed them.
  • Monitor financial performance, analyze reports, and implement corrective actions as necessary.

Vendor Relations:


  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with vendors and suppliers.
  • Negotiate terms, pricing, and promotions to maximize profitability.

Quality Assurance:


  • Implement and enforce quality control measures for fresh produce, dairy, and other perishable goods.
  • Address and resolve quality issues promptly.

Budget Management and Accounting:

  • Develop and manage the store budget, including expenses and revenue projections.
  • Implement costcontrol measures to optimize profitability.
  • Oversee accounting functions, including financial recordkeeping and reporting.

Inventory Management:


  • Implement effective inventory control practices to minimize stock outs and overstock situations.
  • Conduct regular inventory audits and reconcile discrepancies.
  • Optimize stock turnover and reduce shrinkage through strategic inventory management.

Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree in business, Retail Management, or a related field preferred.
  • Proven experience (5+ years) as a Grocery Store Manager or in a similar leadership role within the retail industry.
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Knowledge of grocery store operations, merchandising, inventory management, and accounting.
  • Ability to analyze financial reports and implement strategies for business improvement.
  • Familiarity with health and safety regulations.

Additional Details:


  • Onsite role with approximately 25% travel.
