    C&A Group is actively recruiting Machinists and Helpers to join our rapidly expanding and dynamic team of Machinist professionals in Lethbridge, Alberta, Canada.

    Wage: Base Journeyperson Rate - Up to $42.00/hr.

    C&A Group's Expertise:

    o General Machining & CNC Machining - R&D, Repair, Custom and Production Parts/Systems

    o Food and Beverage Process Equipment Design, Manufacturing, Installation, and Maintenance.

    o Material Handling Systems (Conveyors) Design, Manufacturing, Installation, and Maintenance

    o Agricultural Equipment Design and Manufacturing - Mobile & Processing Facilities

    o Oil & Gas Equipment Design and Manufacturing - Mobile Equipment

    o Millwright and Industrial Mechanic Services – Maintenance and Plant Shutdowns

    o Industrial Plumbing, Process Piping & Mechanical Systems

    Are you an individual who:

    o Has had previous fabrication experience with stainless steel, aluminum, and carbon steel? This is preferred but not necessary.

    o Is experienced with metal cutting equipment such as Lathes and Milling Machines?

    Machinist Journeypersons and Helpers are required to perform some or all the following duties:

    o CNC Programming – Gibbs Cam Software and G code knowledge are assets.

    o CNC & Manual Machining – Set-Up & Production – Lathes & Mills.

    o Working Knowledge of Tool Holders, Cutting Tools, Boring Bars, Fixtures, Inserts, and Other Machine Accessories and Components Including Precision Measuring Instruments.

    o Repair Machine Tools and Parts.

    o Read and Interpret Engineering Drawings, 3D Models, Charts, and Tables.

    o Hand skills to fit and assemble Components and Machine Parts to Close Tolerances.

    o Operate machine tools such as lathes, and milling machines to produce metal parts.

    o Work with various materials i.e., steel, stainless steel, aluminum, plastics, and other materials.

    o Select appropriate cutting tools, cutting speed, & feed rate for required operations.

    o Able to work accurately, routinely holding .0005" tolerances, and verify accuracy of work against blueprints and specifications.

    o Produce production runs and/or single parts.

    o Able to make minor edits to programs to improve efficiency and quality.

    of our Operations Manager, Shop Operations Manager and Foreman. These candidates will be notified of

    the results within five (5) business days.
