We're seeking a Project Manager to join our Web Development team.

This role involves leading web development projects and will be crucial in managing both a Canada-based team and an international production team.

Our Project Manager is key to ensuring seamless project flow and exceptional results.


This is an exciting position at a fast-moving agency aimed at always delivering best-in-class marketing services, on the cutting edge.

Known for our creative and dynamic approach in the digital marketing realm, we require a leader who possesses both technical expertise and project management skills in web development.


We're working in a hybrid model We're looking for someone who is located in or around the GTA with the ability to travel to our West End location 2-3 times a week.

Abilities & Skills

Project Management: Proven experience in managing end-to-end web development projects including scoping, estimates, kickoff, execution, launch, and reporting.

Technical Skills: Knowledge of WordPress, Shopify, WebFlow, Majento, and other CMS. Familiarity with ERP, GA4, Automation tools, and Asana.

SEO: Understanding of SEO standards and best practices.

Documentation: Strong capability in documenting and developing web solutions.

People Management: Able to expertly delegate tasks, manage team bandwidth, provide clear and constructive feedback, and develop solutions for Web Developers and Designers contributing to a variety of projects.

Client Communication: Excellent communication to be the glue between clients and our operations team.

Problem Solving: Able to adjust and adapt to changes and obstacles that arise throughout a project's lifecycle, bringing innovative solutions to the table.

Experience

  • At least 3 years of project management experience in web development
  • At least 2 years managing a team of developers and designers
  • Certification in project management (e.g., PMP) and/or relevant coursework/certifications is considered an asset.
  • Experience in an agency environment is preferred.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage web development projects from inception to completion, ensuring alignment with project goals and timelines.
  • Develop and execute project plans, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation, to guide the team throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Diligently document the status of each piece and phase of the project.
Team Coordination

  • Allocate tasks amongst a team of inhouse developers and international teams, ensuring a balanced workload and optimal utilization of skills.
  • Foster effective communication and collaboration among inhouse developers and international teams, promoting a cohesive approach to project goals.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement within the team, implementing feedback mechanisms to enhance overall project quality.
Client Relations

  • Act as a main point of contact for account managers, understanding the requirements and expectations for each project.
  • Set clear expectations with the team regarding project timelines, deliverables, and potential challenges, ensuring transparency throughout the project lifecycle.
Quality Assurance

  • Establish and enforce quality standards for work produced by designers and web developers, ensuring deliverables meet client expectations.
Resource Management

  • Prioritize tasks based on project timelines, resource availability, and client expectations to ensure efficient use of resources.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to establish project budgets and resource requirements, monitoring usage against budgetary constraints for financial viability.
