We are currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced Quality Assurance Manager with a focus on Health and Safety.

The ideal candidate will primarily oversee quality assurance processes within meat processing plant, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and customer requirements.

Additionally, you will manage Health and Safety initiatives to maintain a safe working environment for all employees.
Develop and implement quality assurance and health & safety protocols, ensuring regulatory compliance.
– Oversee HACCP principles implementation, collaborating with customers to meet quality standards.
– Collaborate with teams to address quality concerns, promote safety awareness, and conduct product testing.
– Ensure regulatory compliance, train new employees, and prepare reports for agencies.
– Responsible for internal audits, CFIA (Canadian Food Inspection Agency) and customer audits.
Previous experience in quality assurance and health & safety management, preferably in the meat processing industry.
– Strong understanding of HACCP principles and food safety regulations.
– Diploma or degree in Food Science or related field is preferred.
