As a bartender, your responsibilities will include:

Welcoming customers;
Navigating POS systems with ease;
Preparing cocktails, wine, draft or bottled beer, and zeroproof cocktails and beverages for servers, or serving directly to customers;
Collecting payment and recording beverage sales;
Maintaining and controlling inventory and ordering alcoholic beverages and supplies;
Cleaning countertops and washing/polishing glasses;
Checking customers' legal age to prevent serving those who are not authorized to drink alcohol;
Ensuring compliance with provincial and territorial laws and regulations regarding alcohol;
Training and supervising other bartenders and bar staff, if applicable.

Salary :16$ per hour

Requirements:

Experience in sales and customer service;
Professional attitude and behaviour (teamwork, autonomy, dynamic, excellent social skills, honest, versatile, strong initiative, great organizational skills);
Bondable;
Knowledge of the city and tourist points of interest;
Knowledge of the characteristics of different cocktails and zeroproof beverages;
Smart serve certification;
Ability to lift 25lbs;
Food Handlers certification is an asset;
Strong communication skills;
Experience working in a fastpaced work environment.
