Ceyben Care Inc is a Ontario based Care company which focused on home healthcare in the community, long-term care and seniors' retirement living.

We provide private one on one services to seniors who wish to live in their own home and have additional support.

Job Summary:

The caregiver would live in with the client.

The caregiver will provide various services for the client, most of which would provide personal care and activities of daily living, including but not limited to housekeeping, meal preparation and companionship.

The following are various tasks that may be required:

Accompany clients on short trips, doctor's appointments as necessary;
Assist clients in all activities of daily selfcare activities, including but limited to toileting, bathing, grooming, and linen changes;
Prepare meals appropriate to the patient's diet, assist with meal preparation and cleanup;
Assist clients with transfers and exercises in a safe manner when required;
Perform housekeeping chores that the client is unable to perform, including vacuuming, making beds, laundry, dusting, mopping, cleaning the bathroom and the kitchen, caring for pets;
Willingness to work with multiple pets in the home;
Respond and collaborate positively to client's constructive criticism and attend to client requests promptly;
Anticipate client needs and customize care to meet the client's needs;
Able to lift kgs and assist clients with standing, walking, sitting and rolling in bed
Providing 1:1 care assistance to each client individually or in a team setting with another CG
Assist in 2person transfers using mechanical lifts or 1person assists
Provide medication reminders
Expected to maintain communication regarding all client care needs and changes and make appropriate reports

Requirements of the Position:

Minimum of one years of Caregiving experience or PSW certificate or International Nursing Certificate.
Successfully complete a Criminal Background Check including Vulnerable Sector (We will require a copy of your Criminal Record Check)

Must drive

Have a vehicle with valid auto insurance an asset
Must be CPR/First Aid Certified (or willing to become certified)
Experience with 2person transfers preferred but not required
Experience with all forms of personal care
Must be a team player and willing to work with other CEYBEN CARE iNC. CG's
Experience with Alzheimer's, Dementia, Parkinson's, etc is a preferred but not required
Proof of Covid19 vaccination
