Food & Beverage Supervisor (Seasonal)

Reports to:
Senior Food & Beverage Manager

What you'll do:


Your responsibilities include:


  • Communicates expectations to Outlet Associates through performance appraisals, training, departmental orientation, monthly departmental meetings, scheduling etc.
  • Maintains Marriott service and product standards in all F&B departments.
  • Assists with the supervision of daily activities of associates.
  • Conducts preshift meetings at the beginning of each shift.
  • Provides tools, equipment and support to associates to enhance the service delivery.
  • Operates within the guidelines of all food & beverage licenses and health & safety laws.
  • Communicates service deficiencies and/or associate issues to the Sr. Management
  • Collaborate and provide support on social media initiatives including online reputation management (TripAdvisor, Yelp, etc.), content creation and social customer service.
  • Submit payroll on a timely basis.
  • Other duties as assigned.

  • At least one year of Food & Beverage experience;
  • Starbucks or cafe experience strong asset;
  • Smart Serve Certification required;
  • Food Handlers Certification an asset;
  • Diploma/degree in hospitality or related topic preferred;
  • Knowledge of Open Table and Micros preferred;
  • Proficient in MS Office programs i.e. Word, Excel;
  • Basic knowledge of wines, beer and spirits required

Job Types:
Full-time, Seasonal

Contract length: 6 months


Pay:
$27.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
