As the Facility Assistant III, you will be responsible for assisting in the overall operation of the facility and the achievement of location targets, providing leadership to the team, while demonstrating an exceptionally high level of customer service and safe work practices.

Your day-to-day activities will include:

Provide customer service specific to grain sales and crop production by assisting with the administration of sales orders, grain contracts, and grain receiving.
Assist in the movement of grain within the elevator through drying, blending and binning.
Weigh and grade corn, soybean, and wheat.
Assist the General Manager in mentoring and educating yard staff in grain and fertilizer operations.
Maintain a safe and compliant work environment by ensuring staff adhere to P&H Quality and Health & Safety policies and procedures.
Post-Secondary education in agriculture or a businessrelated field would be an asset.
35 years' experience in a grain elevator and fertilizer facility.
Previous experience as a Team Lead or Supervisor is preferred.
Previous experience with a demonstrated ability to provide exceptional customer service both internally to staff and externally to customers and area Farmers
Experience using grade protocols for grain deliveries.
Experience with technologically advanced equipment such as PLCs, GPS, VRT, IT hardware
D-Z license would be an asset.
Aptitude for mechanical maintenance and repair
Ability to operate heavy equipment offsite in customers fields.
Flexible work schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays during busy periods.
Ability to work at heights.
