    QUALIFICATIONS
  • High school diploma required; education in human resources or related field preferred.
  • Experience providing office administrative support required; 5 years of experience in human resource and/or public sector office experience preferred.
  • Proficient in use of Word, Excel, Access and Outlook.
  • Experience with HR systems, reporting systems and Google Docs preferred.
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills, including oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to manage/prioritize/complete work assignments from multiple sources in a timely fashion.
  • Strong skills in organization, creative thought, initiative, systems thinking and problem solving.
  • Ability to gather and analyze data.
  • Ability to coordinate and collaborate with other staff.
  • Detail-oriented and ability to work well under deadlines and in stressful situations.
  • Ability to maintain confidential information.
  • Demonstrated experience and proficiency working with a culturally, ethnically, racially and socioeconomically diverse school community is preferred.
  • RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Provide administrative support to the Director of Human Resources, Coordinators of Human Resources and Human Resources Supervisors, with duties including, but not limited to, managing incoming communications/correspondence, preparing and circulating out going communications/correspondence, scheduling meetings, maintaining calendars, organizing and maintaining files, and processing timesheets, check requests and mileage reimbursements.
  • Prepare School Board exhibits.
  • Prepare and maintain the Human Resources department budget; process purchase orders and reconcile procurement card purchases.
  • Provide support for annual staffing process.
  • Prepare employee contracts and wage statements.
  • Pull reports from the Human Resources Information System (HRIS) and other sources, analyze and compile data as needed for department or the district.
  • Maintain employee access to their information, and the organization chart in the HR system.
  • Assist with student teacher agreements and placements.
  • Complete and file required governmental reports, complete surveys, and maintain required records.
  • Maintain information in human resources systems.
  • Provide training and act as resource to school office staff.
  • Order department equipment and office furniture and arrange for repairs.
  • Assist in the training and coordination of schedules and facilitate problem solving with department staff.
  • Perform miscellaneous projects and research as requested.
  • Serves as a notary public for district personnel.

    $64,415 - $69, depending on qualifications
