Description
Teach Me My Way Services is a multi-disciplinary children's centre supporting children with autism and their families. The team consists of the owner/director, Board Certified Behaviour Analyst, and Therapy Assistants (Communicative Disorders Assistants and Instructor Therapists). We are also able to provide our families the opportunity for Occupational Therapy and Speech-Language Pathology consults.
Duties and Skills
- Planning and implementing programming goals designed by the supervising therapist for onetoone and small groups therapy sessions
- Accurately documenting client progress using an online charting system
- Attending team meetings and trainings
- Solid timemanagement skills
- Minimum of 2 years experience working with children with ASD
- Experience with Augmentative and Alternative Communication systems
- Experience working on a multidisciplinary team
Other Requirements:
- Must provide an uptodate Criminal Records check with Vulnerable Persons within 30 days of being offered the position.
- First Aid and CPR certification is recommended (or ability to attend course within 30 days of start date).
- Willingness to attend Continuing Education Workshops and/or online webinars
Salary:
$18.00-$22.50 per hour
