  • About the Role

    The Coordinator, Graduate Programs, coordinates the successful delivery of the graduate programs within the School of Interactive Arts & Technology (SIAT). The Coordinator is responsible for the recruitment, admissions, advising and administration of the School of Interactive Arts & Technology's graduate programs. This position is responsible for the planning and coordination of internal and external graduate programs events and workshops.

    Qualifications

    Bachelor's degree in Business or related discipline, and three years of related experience in managing the administration/delivery of graduate programs, including experience in admissions, recruitment, advising, and event planning, or an equivalent combination of education, training.

  • Excellent knowledge of graduate programs admissions, recruitment, and academic advising theories, best practices and strategies.
  • Excellent knowledge of university policies and regulations related to graduate programs admission, academic programming, advising, student services and support.
  • Excellent program planning, administration, and assessment strategies.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational, strategic and project management skills.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work cooperatively and effectively with others.
  • Ability to exercise cultural sensitivity and mindfulness.
  • Ability to exercise mature judgement, initiative, diplomacy, and tact.
  • Ability to apply policies; multi-task; meet strict deadlines; and handle confidential/sensitive material with discretion.
  • Good knowledge of social media tools (e.g., Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram).
  • Good knowledge of standard office applications, databases, and desktop publishing applications (e.g., MS Office, InDesign, Illustrator).
  • Proficient in the use of enterprise level information management systems (e.g., SIMS, PeopleSoft, FINS, OASIS, GA3, etc.).
  • Good knowledge of website content management systems and analytical tools (e.g., Adobe CQ5, Google Analytics).
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
  • Ability to arrange suitable transportation to various work locations as required.
