Canada Heavy Equipment College (CHEC) is currently looking to hire PART-TIME Heavy Equipment Instructors for our Corporate Department. If you have the skills to be a Heavy Equipment Instructor for any of the equipment listed below, we want to talk to you
- Motor Grader / Plow
- Snow Plow
- Front End Loader
- Tractor Loader Backhoe
- Excavator
- Bulldozer
Your Role:
- Provide onsite heavy equipment training programs to various Municipal Public Works staff and/or Construction company staff throughout Western Canada.
- Teach and explain safe and efficient work practices/policies/procedures to operators.
- Travel throughout Western Canada to provide short concise onsite heavy equipment training assignments (assignments can span from two days to a full week or more)
- Identify and communicate any safety concerns through training, site inspections and assessments
- Mark tests, evaluate and grade students.
Your Qualifications:
- Must have at least 10 years of diverse experience on multiple heavy equipment machines grader, backhoe, loader, excavator
- Applicable Certifications
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Previous HEO Instruction experience an asset
- Instructional or Supervisory experience would be an asset

- 10 hour shift
- 12 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
Experience:
- motor grader operation: 10 years (required)
- tractor loader backhoe operation: 10 years (required)
- excavator operation: 10 years (required)
- bulldozer operation: 10 years (required)
- Snowplowing: 10 years (required)
Licence/Certification:
- AZ/DZ driver's license (preferred)
