    Job Description:

    Operations Manager is responsible for end-to-end Operations Delivery for the assigned project- includes Team planning, delivery, client interaction, managing project operational parameters and stakeholder management. The primary focus is to balance the project constraints # budget, scope, time, risk, quality, and resource over the project lifecycle. Operations Manager is responsible for managing all project resources, including subcontractors and for establishing an effective communication plan with the project team and client.

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    #Lead all aspects of project planning, documentation, development of success criteria, outcomes measurement and the successful handoff of projects through effective communication

    #Be responsible for successful delivery of the project by meeting and exceeding the set KPI's.

    #Assess team performance and recommend improvements

    #Handle escalations from Client Executives.

    #Oversee budget and resource plans to achieve the SOW.

    #Coordinate with Delivery Manager and General Manager for Project Management Reviews

    #Identify and communicate with the customer for any new business opportunities

    #Accountable for automating operational activities, adopting lean mythologies and performance optimization

    SPECIALIZATION

    In today's changing business needs and objectives project management relies on the on-ground workforce having better visibility and traceability of tasks assigned to them. Project Management is the application of knowledge, skills, tools, and techniques to project activities to meet or exceed stakeholder needs and expectations. At Mindtree, we use different tools and applications which help in planning and monitoring various operations and gives end-to-end visibility of the projects. We collaborate to deliver products within cost, schedule, and resource constraints achieving customer satisfaction goals.

    Experience

  • Above 12 years of support or equivalent experience including a customer facing. 5+ years of Project/ Program management experience is an advantage.
  • Time of operation:
  • This team will be in the 24X7 shift model. Therefore, should be flexible to cover during holidays and weekends to accommodate customer roster.
  • Work Location: Calgary, Canada. All 5 days, work at office.


    • Responsible for daily operations of the technical team.


    • Monitor the KPI's and ensure to achieve in a daily basis.


    • Prepare, Review, and represent the technical teams in Weekly/Monthly business Review.


    • Responsible for the appraisal review of his/her team of engineers.


    • First point of contact for the customer escalation.


    • Work with SDM on daily operations and mitigate an operational challenge.


    • Work on the career path of his/her team engineers and coach them to achieve the same.


    • Accountable for Leave, staffing and availability of engineers.


    • Plan 24X7 shift for team engineers.
