Specific Roles and Responsibilities That Create the Essential Toronto Experience:

Reporting to the Director of Marketing and Public Relations, the Social Media Manager serves as the lead project manager to drive the hotel's annual campaigns.

The Social Media Manager primarily manages the hotel's social media calendar, liaises with operational hotel leaders, coordinates internal photo shoots, and completes month-end reporting.

This is an administrative role with moderate hosting duties of influencers and media. Luxury, hospitality social media management experience is preferred.

  • Exceptional time management and organizational skills
  • Ability to work in a high volume and fastpaced corporate work environment
  • Professional decorum and presentation
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
  • Focused mindset and ability to work autonomously while producing within deadlines
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in marketing, social media and/or hospitality
  • Ability to work at the hotel Monday-Friday

  • Applicant must demonstrate a strong understanding of the Fairmont Royal York brand
  • Present a review of Fairmont Royal York's social channels
  • Present a proposed threeweek outline for Fairmont Royal York's four Instagram channels
  • Demonstrate ability to write copy in the Fairmont Royal York and Fairmont Hotels & Resorts brand voice
  • Demonstrate project management capabilities
  • Professional references should highlight time management project management

Social Media:

  • Manage editorial calendar and content strategy across nine social media channels
  • Monthly analysis of performance for each social campaign
  • Analysis of hotels' social performance across all levers
  • Promote content on social networks and monitor engagement (e.g. comments and shares)
  • Monitor social media on evenings and weekends, to ensure questions/c
