Business Analyst to join our team The
Business Analyst is responsible for bridging the gap between IT and the business using data analytics to assess processes, determine requirements and deliver data-driven recommendations and reports to executives and stakeholders
In this role, you will work closely with business leaders and users to understand how data-driven changes to process, products, services, software and hardware can improve efficiencies and add value.
Your responsibilities as a Business Analyst at Fix Network:
- Communicate with stakeholders to understand their requirements
- Develop, analyze and document functional specifications
- Design efficient IT systems to meet business and technology needs
- Coordinate developers to build and implement technology solutions
- Analyze and document data mapping for integration solutions
- Test and validate the development against the requirements to make sure the solution addresses the needs.
- Integrate multiple systems and reconcile needs of different teams
- Gather feedback from end users about system performance
- Plan and oversee some projects
- Provide advice, technical support and training
- Assist in documenting the software roadmap and prioritizing the product backlog
- Conducting meetings and presentations to share ideas and findings.
- Other related tasks as required
- Bachelor or college degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Software Development or equivalent
- Minimum 5 years of related experience
- Bilingualism, French and English (written and spoken) an asset
- Excellent documentation skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Knowledge of Agile software development methodologies, tools and best practices
- Knowledge of software architecture design principles
- Knowledge of relational database design, normalization and Structured Query Language (SQL)
- Able to work well under pressure and meet set deadlines
- An interest in, and understanding of, project management techniques
- Knowledge of Azure and DevOps environment is an asset
