This is the role

The General Operator reports directly reports to the Production Supervisor.

It is the responsibility of the General Operator to operate equipment in an effective and efficient manner according to company standards, specifications and policies.

To produce quality mineral wool products within the Company's parameters of quality, material and time efficiency. Maintain a clean, safe, and efficient workplace without jeopardizing product quality or the environment. This position is based in our facility in Milton, ON. Reports the quantity of the created/rejected deficiencies dependent on the cause of its creation. Segregates waste according to the current instructions.

This is What You Offer:

High school diploma or equivalent
Forklift experience/certification
Experience in machine setup and computers
Must have a good understanding in how equipment operates in order to clear equipment safely
Good understanding of Health & Safety requirements and works in a safe manner
Selfmotivated with the drive, commitment and high energy to motivate others
The ability to read and understand written instructions and product specifications
