At BioPed we strive to strengthen neighbourhoods and communities, and we do so by working with Soles4Souls and through our Corporate Social Responsibilities program, our network together helps those less fortunate break the cycle of poverty, enabling them to do more in their lives.

We collect gently used shoes, from your closet, to BioPed Clinics, to those who really need them, all year round.


BioPed Clinics have collected more than 600,000 pairs of gently used shoes by holding shoe drives in our own communities, collecting shoes in our 65+ Clinics across Canada, or distributing shoes to people in our neighbourhoods who are in need.

To further this cause, we are currently seeking an independent contractor to collect shoe donations from our clinics across Canada and deliver them to the designated Soles4Souls drop-off warehouse location.


Responsibilities:


  • Collect shoe donations from BioPed Clinics across Ontario and deliver them to the designated S4S dropoff warehouse location
  • Ensure timely and efficient pickup and delivery of shoe donations
  • Maintain accurate records of pickup and delivery times, locations, and quantities of donations
  • Assist before and after deliveries as needed, including loading and unloading of deliveries
  • Comply with all health and safety regulations
  • Perform regular inspections of the Soles4Souls Van (Company Vehicle) and notify the Company if there are any maintenance concerns.
  • Provide courteous customer care to our clinicians and team members by delivering a high level of service when picking up or dropping off deliveries.

Qualifications:

  • Must have a valid driver's license within the province of Ontario
  • Must be 25 years of age or older as this is a requirement for Company vehicle insurance.
  • Be able to lift and carry bags of shoes (containing 15 to 20 pairs of shoes in each bag).
  • Ability to work independently and follow instructions
  • Familiarity with the geography of the areas to be covered
