CNC Machine Operator in Kitchener-Waterloo, ON

We are currently hiring for a full-time permanent CNC Machine Operator to join our dynamic Fabrication Team. This position offers competitive wages ranging from $23/hr to $25/hr, comprehensive benefits, and opportunities to further develop your skillset and advance your career.

Job Description:

• Operate CNC machinery and Angle Line equipment to accurately machine and process parts for various structural projects.
• Read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints to set up and adjust machine settings and controls.
• Maintain a strong understanding of machining techniques and standards required for precision cutting, drilling, and milling.
• Monitor machine operations and adjust controls to ensure specifications are met.
• Perform regular maintenance checks on machinery to ensure optimal performance.
• Follow safe work practices and adhere to company guidelines and OHS regulations.
• Work hours are from 7am to 4pm, Monday through Friday.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a CNC machine operator, including specific experience with Angle Line operations.
• Skilled in reading and understanding technical blueprints and schematic drawings.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• No formal certification (ticket) required, but hands-on experience is essential.
• Must possess a valid driver's license.
• Fluent in English, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Must be reliable, diligent, and have a positive work attitude.

Salary: $23/hr to $25/hr
