Working with a diverse and dynamic team, this role will provide leadership, expertise and innovative thinking to the Recruitment function.

You will have the opportunity to use your previous experience to further develop and flourish in an organization with a demonstrated track record of success.


This is a full-time, permanent position based out of Calgary, AB. The role also qualifies for our hybrid remote working program.

What would you be doing?

  • Support high volume recruitment, including taking the lead for designated new hires, name hires, rehires, and assisting with transfers from hiring managers when required.
  • Manage and facilitate the centralized Recruitment onboarding and administration processes of dedicated recruitment team to ensure all recruitment activities are in compliance with recruitment standards, company policies, regulatory requirements, and update on any changes
  • Work directly with operational group and recruitment team to understand project scope(s), deliverables, provide status updates, and understand risk and mitigation strategies.

  • Lead project meetings with internal stakeholders to attain imperative information for upcoming projects to relay to greater team, and provide status updates to the operational group on progress.
  • Coach, lead and develop the Recruitment team to build engagement, capabilities, and maximize efficiencies in recruitment and onboarding processes as well as other processes that overlap with recruitment functions.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of current best practices in talent acquisition including leveraging technology, social media and industry networks.
  • The ability to lead projects to successful conclusion balancing efficiency with quality.
  • Assist in any and all recruitment and onboarding activities as required.
  • Other duties as assigned.

  • Bachelor's degree or college diploma in business, human resources, or related field.
  • Registered Professional Recruiter designation is an asset.
  • Demonstrated people management and leadership skills; you know how to develop, mentor, and grow a highfunctioning team.
  • Ability to thrive in a busy environment and pivot or adapt to change.
  • Experienced and knowledgeable of industrial trades and craft roles.
  • Practiced working in highgrowth environments.
  • Excellent work ethic with a handson approach, flexible and results oriented.
  • Must be able to organize and manage multiple highdemand priorities.
  • Skilled in developing relationships and have successfully gained buyin on business initiatives and recommendations.
  • Ability to conduct and train on a variety of interview styles (structured, competencybased, virtual, online, etc.).
  • Familiarity working within Talent Acquisition Systems and platforms; experience with iCIMS and/or UKG considered an asset.
