    Description

    Summary of responsibilities:

    The Team Leader, Screening Performance is responsible for the functional administration of the Performance Data Collectors and to assist with ensuring the program objectives are achieved on a consistent and efficient basis. The TLSP is responsible for leading and supporting the team of Performance Officers. The Team Leader, Screening Performance performs all other duties and responsibilities related to the position as required.

    What you need to succeed

    To qualify for the position, you must have:

  • Post-secondary education relevant to the position.Graduation from a recognized college or university with a specialization relevant to the duties of the position.
  • A minimum of two (2) years of experience conducting inspections or monitoring in a highly regulated environment where compliance to operating standards and procedures is critical.
  • A minimum of one (1) year of experience in functional supervision of a team.
  • A minimum of one (1) year of experience writing reports and giving recommendations to management.
  • Ability to use a variety of software applications such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint and mobile devices.

  • Ability to liaise effectively with stakeholders.
  • Ability to monitor multiple and diverse activities and to report findings and observations appropriately.
  • Excellent facilitation, presentation and communication (verbal, written skills).
  • Organized, critical thinker, self-disciplined, and results-oriented.
  • Able to function well in a highly structured environment.
  • Ability to analyze data and provide recommendations.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal direct supervision.
  • Valuable skills include:

  • Supervisory level experience in areas such as logistics and transport, security, or other highly regulated business environments.
  • Experience working in a unionized environment.
  • Knowledge of the aviation industry and the related regulatory and security issues.
  • Experience in using Database information for analysis and reporting purpose.
  • Experience in shift schedule design and implementation within established parameters.
  • Knowledge of CATSA's mandate and priorities, as well as an awareness of relevant legislation impacting CATSA.
  • Specific work requirements

  • Ability to work overtime as required;
  • Ability to travel as required
  • Language Profile: English Essential;
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance;
  • Be a Canadian citizen or permanent resident.
