An accredited private dental hygiene college located in Ottawa is seeking to hire a STERLIZATION CENTRE TECHNICIAN as part of a team to support the dental hygiene clinic by overseeing and maintaining the clinical operations.


Required Qualifications:


  • Certified Level II Dental Assistant member of ODAA or registered dental hygienist
  • Medical device reprocessing training
  • CPR level C and BLS
  • Standard First Aide
  • WHMIS certification


  • OHSA

  • Worker Health and Safety Awareness certificate
  • Ability to establish and work cooperatively within a team,
  • Ability to maintain effective working relationships with students, instructors, coordinators, program director and administration.
  • Ability to work independently and uphold the policies and protocols of the college at all times.

Hourly rate of pay:
$ $32.00

Hours per week:

Job Type:

Part-time hours: 20 per week


Salary:
$28.00-$32.00 per hour


Flexible Language Requirement:

  • French not required

Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday
  • Weekend availability

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Ottawa, ON K1N 7E8: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Experience:

Dental Assisting: 1 year (preferred)


Licence/Certification:

  • Certified Dental Assistant (preferred)
