    Lead Payroll Implementation Specialist Nationals (Comprehensive Services)

    ADP is hiring an experienced Payroll Implementation Specialist for National accounts in Comprehensive Services. In this position, you'll help our clients leverage ADP's exceptional business solutions so they can focus on what matters most to them - growing their business.

    Responsibilities:

    • Responsible for the quality implementation and set up of ADP's payroll solution to meet client and HR business requirements, following ADP guidelines, and in accordance with client expectations
    • Apply industry and product knowledge to optimize system configurations and product upgrades
    • Analyze and understand the client's payroll needs in order to properly setup the ADP's database
    • Responsible for all aspects of the project, including analysis, configuration, validation and problem solving. Ensure accuracy of all aspects of client set up
    • Implement successful new business conversions to ADP platform and ensuring a high degree of client satisfaction while maintaining high productivity
    • Ensure client satisfaction and retention through timely solution delivery within client-defined timeliness
    • Training, testing and validation with the client before participating in the first 'LIVE' payroll processing run
    • Managing various accounts from project initiation to close by supporting the client through all phases of the implementation
    • Manage project risks and escalations to resolution
    • Respect project time lines
    • Exchange routine information with members of client project team, including priorities, timeliness, issues as they arise
    • Provide regular implementation status reports to stakeholders, highlighting critical issues for management and overall status of project

    Qualifications:

    • Minimum 3-5 years' experience in payroll & payroll systems
    • Canadian Payroll Professional Designation (PCP preferred) or equivalent knowledge & experience
    • Working knowledge of Canadian (federal, provincial, municipal) employment and payroll related legislation
    • Advise on Canadian legislation and employment standards for payroll
    • Ensure alignment and compliance between the clients' payroll policies and HRO policies
    • Advanced MS Office Skills (Word/Excel) required
    • Strong Project management knowledge & applied experience
    • Ability to collaborate & work effectively within cross functional teams
    • Effective verbal and written communication skills
    • Previous experience working directly with clients, excellent client management and inter-personal skills
    • Ability to work independently, be resourceful and a strong team player
    • Advanced numeric/logic skills are required to analyze, understand, test and troubleshoot complex calculations for unions, custom calculations, payroll calculations with multiple considerations etc.

    Preferred:

    • Knowledge of ADP payroll solutions
    • Bilingual (French, English)
    • Prior implementation experience with large projects

    • Ability to multi-task, probe, analyze, and problem solve
    • Detail oriented and ability to follow-through
    • Ability to analyze and manage large amounts of data
    • Strong organization, time management and prioritizing skills
    • Ability to work effectively in fast-paced environment with multiple competing priorities and deadlines
    • Support change management plan to ease client process of transitioning from their current environment into a managed model.

    Education:

    • Post-secondary education or related business experience.
    • PCP and/or CPM certification is an asset.
